Don and Dawn Brown

Don and Dawn function as family pastors and are elders/overseers at TACF. Don is an ordained minister of the gospel, and plays a key advisory role in the church, while both are very involved with intercessory prayer. Both Don and Dawn moved to California as children. They were married in 1967 and have six children, five boys and a girl. Don attended Columbia Bible College before moving on to a secular college where he earned bachelor and masters degrees. For many years, Don was a professor at an engineering college in California. Later in life he attended Melodyland School of Theology and was ordained by the Independent Assemblies of God in 1974. Dawn was a homemaker for most of her life, and was always busy in church. She led a church prayer ministry for many years as well as leading women’s groups. Don and Dawn saw many young people come to Christ and get their lives on track while ministering at a drug rehabilitation ministry in Southern California. Don was also an elder and Missions Director in charge of foreign missions outreach for a church in Colorado for several years.
