Gary and Cathy Gideon

Gary and Cathy oversee the TACF altar ministry teams and coordinate TACF prayer visitation teams. Cathy is a native Tucsonan and Gary has been in Tucson since 1951. They’ve been married since Feb. 1972, and have lived on Tucson’s east side since 1973. They are the parents of 4 adult children, and have several grandchildren. Prior to coming to TACF, they were members of Desert Chapel Full Gospel Church. Gary was licensed as a minister in 1994, and ordained in 1996. His experience includes small group pastoring and leadership, missions chairman and board member, missions pastor, and associate pastor. He was involved in the Pastor’s Coalition of Prayer Network, a citywide network of pastors who met to pray for each other and the city. Cathy taught Jr. High Sunday school, co-led women’s Bible studies, and co-led small groups. She was a vocalist with the worship team, served as assistant worship leader, and women’s ministry worship leader. She oversaw and organized various functions such as vacation Bible schools, rummage sales, and church dinners. They were trained at Freedom in Christ Ministries, and both have experience in counseling, prayer/intercession, healing, deliverance, and prophetic ministry. From 1998 to 2005 they pastored a home church (Deep Spring Ministries). They have a vision to see God glorified through the equipping of the saints (Ephesians 4:11-16) for the work of supernatural ministry. Their desire is that God’s redemptive purpose would be fulfilled in and through every believer, and that the world will see the manifest presence of Jesus in the Church here in Tucson, our nation and nations of the world.
