Bruce heads the TACF usher ministry, Rachel is a key member of the hospitality ministry, and both serve on the worship team. Originally from Connecticut, Bruce and Rachel have lived in California, North Carolina, and 23 years in Minnesota prior to moving to Tucson in 2001. Bruce has served with the Gideon’s, was ordained as a minister in 1999, and was an assistant pastor in St. Cloud, Minnesota until the move to Tucson. Rachel served as a deacon and provided helps ministry along with hospitality. Both have a heart for worship and have served on various worship teams. Bruce and Rachel were married in 1975, have two sons and grandchildren. Their youngest son is in the Air Force and the oldest lives in Minnesota. Even though Bruce served in the Marines, he blessed his son's decision to join the Air Force, with the appropriate amount of ribbing of course. Bruce enjoys hiking, mountain biking and home improvement projects. Rachel loves decorating, hospitality, and pets. Both have a desire to minister to new Christians and do this in part by leading and hosting a Connections group on the Northwest side.
