India January 23 – February 5, 2008

This trip to India had some of the most powerful miracles we have seen on a Global Awakening trip. During a 3-day period of village outreach (bringing the poor food, blankets, and God’s love), coupled with nightly gospel healing meetings we saw about 1000 come to Christ and 1100 physical healings. Of those, 44 blind were healed, 35 deaf, 38 deliverances, 9 tumors disappeared, and 9 lame walked – what a display of His love and power! A teenage girl who was born deaf and mute was completely healed the last night of the village crusade. The young man who prayed for her was a ministry school student with us for the first time in India. On the same night a college student witnessed God heal 12 blind eyes and 7 deaf ears! Prior to this trip, she had only prayed once for someone that was healed of pain in their knee. Pictured above, I was preaching on the “Glory of Christ” when those miracles began to happen. During the sermon, three blind people received their sight – God backed up the preaching of Christ with an awesome display of His glory and power. After the village meetings, we held a conference for 2000 pastors and leaders in Hyderabad, India. It was a terrific success as we taught, trained, and imparted to these leaders. The last day of the pastors’ conference was my birthday, and I had the opportunity to preach and minister in three separate meetings that day. Here is my account of that day:

“We had a glory explosion tonight! Details in a minute ... Well, it's been an interesting "Birthday in India!" This morning I taught on deliverance for 90 minutes then led 2000 pastors and leaders in a "mass deliverance" prayer. Our team said you could see people all over the tent getting free; it was powerful. I was too focused on leading them through renouncing "stuff" then commanding spirits to leave to really notice what was happening with the people. This afternoon I spoke for an hour on being spiritual fathers and mothers – it touched the pastors deeply.

I should have been tired after this afternoon meeting, speaking twice already, but we left that meeting really stoked! After having an hour break before the night meeting, we got on the bus to leave and James came and said there was a problem. About 20 Hindus came to try to stop the worship and meeting from starting. James was able to have them removed, but was concerned about safety for the team and felt it best not to have the team or Randy go. He asked me if I would go with him and preach tonight and leave Randy and the rest of the team behind for security reasons. We all felt it a good idea; I got my Bible, grabbed a tie, and headed to the meeting. Randy did send one of the GSSM students to film the meeting if anything happened.

 We got there and there were about 2000 people, plus many of the pastors were still there. I preached again on the Glory of Christ, and it was one of those messages that as it was leaving my lips I knew it was anointed and coming with power. The people were gripped with expectation as I told of His glory, power, and miracles we have been seeing. Then all of a sudden, several people began to severely manifest demons in the meeting. They were rolling around, running, falling – I haven't seen that happen with such intensity since being in Haiti 8 years ago in some meetings. I had to start taking authority over these spirits while I was preaching from the stage and it was crazy for a while. One man began to hiss and make claw motions and run toward the stage – I said "stop in Jesus name!" and he never moved another foot toward the stage – Yea God! What the devil meant for harm, God turned for His good because now half the crowd was on their feet captivated by God's power moving on these people. I went into a salvation call and about 200 people came forward in response. I started praying mass prayers for healing, and 150 to 200 stood saying they were healed. Our camera man was having a blast recording all of this – he had never seen anything like it. I then stood on stage and laid hands on about 500 people who wanted prayer for healing. What an explosive night! This has been a REALLY good and fruitful trip to India.”

India April 23 – May 4, 2007

What a great trip I took to India April 23 - May 4th. Thanks to all of you that prayed and helped support this outreach financially. It was one of the most productive short-term mission trips I’ve ever made, both in terms of types of meetings held, and the results of the meetings. I ministered eight consecutive nights in four different villages and in a 3-night crusade where they trucked in villagers from about 20 different small villages. The crusade meetings had crowds the last evening near 4,000, with about 300 coming to Christ, and another 300 receiving healing during the event. I also ministered in several sessions of a school of ministry, training future church planters and pastors.

Additionally, I was thrilled to visit the construction site of the church that TACF is sponsoring in one of the villages where a church was recently planted. I had the opportunity to pray over the building and grounds, and with several of the villagers in this village of 700. I’m pictured at right with James & Sarah in front of the front door of the new church building. They oversee 1,200 churches in India, and have built 237 concrete church buildings for their pastors in the last 10 years.

During the crusade, I had a word of knowledge one night that God was healing back conditions, specifically the lower left side. A woman stood to her feet, believing in faith for her healing, and was instantly healed of the condition. Smiling and full of joy, she came forward sharing this testimony the next night, bending over several times, explaining to us that she had been unable to bend like this for four years, and had gone home and did laundry the previous night without pain. I’ve never seen someone so excited about doing laundry! A young woman came forward to share a testimony the last night of the crusade about her father’s healing of the night before. She said that her father had been unable to eat for about 5 weeks, and had severe abdominal pains. When I gave an invitation for those in the crowd to stand for loved ones who were not there, she stood as I prayed over the crowd a prayer of agreement together for those loved ones not in attendance. When she got home that night, there was her father, eating for the first time in weeks, pain free! Isn’t Jesus awesome? The young woman is in the above photo as she shares the testimony.

Again, thank you for your prayers and financial help toward this ministry trip to India. The total cost for the 20’x40’ church building that we are constructing is about $9,200, and we have raised and sent them $4,500 thus far. We expect the church to be completed and paid for by the end of the summer. God is moving in India, with many coming to Christ, and many new churches being established in small villages and cities throughout this predominately Hindu nation. India Trip Jan. 23rd – Feb. 6th 2007 

For the 2^nd consecutive year, I made a trip with Randy Clark and a team from Global Awakening to India.  We split up into two teams, one I helped to co-lead, with each team going to two different cities. As a result, we ministered to thousands of people during the eight days of meetings in these four cities. The estimated trip results from Global Awakening for both teams were as follows:

Global Awakening held gospel crusades and pastors' meetings in two cities –Guntur and Rajamundry – both in the province of Andrah Pradesh. The meetings were explosive, with night time attendance between 3,000 – 15,000 each night. We literally saw thousands receive Christ and thousands more receive healing. Pictured at right is of one of the evening crusade meetings as Randy Clark ministers. The pastors' meetings during the daytime had about 1,000 pastors in attendance, and they were powerfully impacted as we taught them about how to pray for the sick and minister healing to their people.

I had the opportunity to pray for healing for hundreds of people during these meetings. There was one evening, that God’s anointing for healing was so strong, that everyone that I prayed for was healed as Jesus touched them, it was amazing! One little girl I prayed for was born deaf and mute, and as I ministered to her, her left ear opened immediately! What a look of surprise on her face as she motioned to her mother that she could hear out of that ear. As I continued to pray, her right ear began to improve, hearing partially. She was able to make sounds that she could not do before, as her speech was being healed. She is pictured at left. Another evening, I prayed for a woman with a quarter size tumor on her neck. She was sad and sullen when I first began to minister to her. As I began to pray for her, I could feel the tumor beginning to shrink, and so could she! Her whole countenance began to change, and within about ten minutes of praying, the tumor was completely gone! What a look of joy on her face as she experienced the love and power of Christ!

After the Global Awakening meetings, I stayed for another week with an Indian pastor friend Sankar and we held pastors' and evening gospel meetings in Chennai and Ooty. The pastors' meetings in both cities were a huge success, with about 100 pastors at each. Our ministry provided for the transportation, meals and meeting expenses. The pastors were so hungry for God’s word, and were touched deeply by the Holy Spirit as we ministered to them. For many of these pastors, they and their families live off of the equivalent to $50 US a month, in very difficult circumstances where they are often persecuted and struggle to take the gospel to unreached villages and peoples. It was an honor for me to pour into the lives of these men and women. India is one of the most populated nations on earth, expected to surpass China in 2008 as the most populous. The opportunity for massive evangelism and harvest in India is incredible. As we help train and empower them, the reality of massive harvest there becomes reality with God’s help! Thanks for being a part of touching a very needy nation with the Gospel.

In addition to the pastors' meetings, Sankar and I held night time gospel meetings. We had several hundred in attendance, and once again we witnessed God draw many people to Himself and heal and deliver many people afflicted by demons. One lady I remember in particular responded to a word of knowledge that I had about someone being there who had a serious sinus condition and pain right above her nose. The woman stood up in response to that word and nearly fell over as the pain increased. As I began to pray for her, suddenly, she collapsed forward with her arms and hands bending in a tight contorted fashion. What was happening was that she was manifesting a spirit of infirmity that was afflicting her sinus and now had moved into her arms and hands. I simply commanded the spirit to loose her in the name of Jesus, and within a couple of minutes, she was standing and smiling as all the pain in her sinus and hands was now gone, she was free! I love to watch Jesus come and touch people with His love and power, it is awesome every time to behold! Pictured above I am speaking during one of the pastors' meetings. Pastor Bob
